Apply for an Assistance to Firefighters Grant – Application Period Now Open!

Does your department need equipment, protective gear, emergency vehicles, or training but is struggling to find funding for these needs? Then apply for an Assistance to Firefighters Grant (AFG)! The application period is now open through December 5 at 5pm EST.
The primary goal of AFG is to meet the firefighting and emergency response needs of fire departments and nonaffiliated emergency medical service organizations. Grants fund equipment and resources that departments need to protect the public and emergency personnel from fire and related hazards.
In order to apply for AFG, you must first be registered and active with the System for Award Management (SAM). You can register for free or update your existing registration at SAM.gov.
