American Ambulance Associations Recognizes 72 Stars of Life

On May 1, the American Ambulance Association (AAA) honored 72 Stars of Life at the Annual Stars of Life Banquet in Washington, D.C. The AAA Stars epitomize the spirit and commitment of the nation’s top ambulance service professionals.
Stars are recognized for service above and beyond the call of duty, years of service, extraordinary bravery, commitment, skill, and dedication to their life-saving work and the communities in which they serve. Read about the 2012 Stars of Life here.
“Each Star is an integral part of our nation’s public safety and public health network and I consider it an honor to host this event.” said AAA President Steve Williamson. “Of all my duties as President of the AAA, hosting this event and having the privilege of giving each Star their award, is one I truly cherish.”
