Columbia Southern University Scholarships

The application period for the 2011 Columbia Southern University Scholarship is now closed.
 
Columbia Southern University (CSU), one of the nation's first completely online universities, is offering two, two-year scholarships to members of the National Volunteer Fire Council (NVFC).
 
Each scholarship will be applied to two consecutive years towards the completion of one of CSU’s associate, bachelor’s, master’s, or doctoral online degree programs. The application period is currently open.

The application period for the 2011 scholarships is now closed. Stay tuned for information for the 2012 scholarship. 
 

Eligibility and Requirements  

All scholarship applicants must:
  • have a high school diploma or GED,
  • be an active member of the NVFC,
  • complete the CSU/NVFC Scholarship Application,
  • provide up to two letters of recommendation, and
  • submit a 500-word essay on this subject: "The Importance of this Scholarship to My Personal, Professional, and/or Educational Growth."
