Personal Membership

The NVFC Personal Membership is geared toward America's volunteer fire, EMS, and rescue services. By completing the membership application today, you will join thousands of individuals and departments who make up the Voice of the Volunteer. 

Dues and Discounts:

Membership costs $30 per year. Two-year memberships and early renewals receive discounted pricing (see membership forms).

• $10,000 Accidental Death & Dismemberment policy through Provident Agency*

• Member Assistance Program through Treatment Solutions, which provides a toll-free, confidential phone line to provide immediate assistance with issues like substance abuse, stress, relationship problems, work-related concerns, and virtually anything disrupting a member’s work life and overall wellness
• Discounted admission and waived application fee from Columbia Southern University, which offers online fire science degrees
• Personal Members in eligible states can get auto and home insurance through California Casualty

* Each NVFC Personal Member is covered for $10,000 in the event of an accidental death, and an additional $10,000 if death occurs while acting on behalf of their fire department in an emergency service capacity. Additionally, the policy covers accidental dismemberment. View policy description. 

Join/Renew

Join online or download the Personal Member Enrollment Form. To renew, download the Renewal Form or renew online by logging into the  Members-Only section of the web site.

To join the EMS/Rescue Section for an additional $15, select that option when you join or renew your Personal Membership.
