Membership Levels


Individual Membership: Individual Membership is geared toward America's volunteer fire, EMS, and rescue services and comes with a myriad of exciting benefits. Annual dues are $30, with discounts available for early renewal and two-year memberships.

All-State Membership: Members of the NVFC's recognized State Associations are eligible for reciprocal NVFC membership for just $15 per person. Departments enrolling all of their membership will have their Department Membership dues waived. Join the EMS/Rescue Section for an additional $15 per member.

EMS/Rescue Section Membership: Join this group of individuals who are committed to volunteer EMS and rescue operations. Annual dues are $15 in addition to NVFC membership dues. Learn more about the Section.

Junior Membership: Junior firefighters, Explorers, and cadets ages 17 and younger can join the NVFC as a Junior Member for just $15 a year.

Department Membership: The Department Membership is geared toward volunteer and combination fire and EMS departments. Annual dues are $50.

All-Staff Department Membership: If all members of your department join the NVFC as Individual Members, the Individual Membership dues are only $15 per person and the Department Membership dues are waived. Enroll your members in the  EMS/Rescue Section for an additional $15 per member.

Associate Membership: Associate Membership is for companies and organizations that support America's volunteer fire, EMS and rescue services. Annual dues range from $1,000 - $10,000.  Click here to learn more about Associate member levels and benefits.  View list of current NVFC Associate Members.

State Association Membership: State fire associations best representing the volunteers of their state are state members of the NVFC. Dues are $500 per year.

* Each NVFC Individual Member is covered for $10,000 in the event of an accidental death, and an additional $10,000 if death occurs while acting on behalf of their fire department in an emergency service capacity. Additionally, the policy covers accidental dismemberment. View policy description.
