National EMS Week is May 17-23
Recognize the contributions and dedication of emergency medical providers across the country and in your community during National EMS Week from May 17-23. Take this opportunity to publicize safety and honor those who provide the day-to-day lifesaving services of medicine’s first responders.
The theme of EMS Week 2009 is “A Proud Partner in Your Community.” The week features national and local activities to honor EMS providers and raise public awareness about health and safety issues, including what to do in a medical emergency.
