The NVFC's EMS Cost Savings Calculator is a tool for fire-based volunteer EMS personnel to determine their departments' current value and total annual savings for the community. It includes a PowerPoint template that can be used to educate city or town council, fire/EMS department boards and local groups about the value that your department brings to the community.

 

The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) produces the EMS Update newsletter to provide up-to-date information on current NHTSA programs, projects and products. A full report of NHTSA activities is produced twice a year, and an in-depth look at specific programs and projects in provided in shorter issues several times a year.
