Facebook has teamed with JP Morgan Chase to donate $5 million to charities. The joint effort, called Chase Community Giving, allows the social networking site's more than 300 million users to vote for the charity of their choice from among 5,000 nonprofit organizations. Vote for the National Volunteer Fire Council Foundation to be one of the 100 charities that will win $25,000.

 

The first round of voting closes on December 11, so cast your vote today. Winners of the $25,000 donations will be announced on December 15. A second round of voting will take place January 15-29, with the winner netting $1 million and five runner-ups receiving $100,000.
