Remember to Renew Your NVFC Membership

National Volunteer Fire Council (NVFC) members whose membership is getting ready to expire are reminded to renew at www.nvfc.org/membership before the expiration date in order to ensure you do not experience a disruption on member benefits.

The NVFC Board recently voted to change the renewal date for NVFC members from calendar year to an anniversary system. Starting January 1, 2010, NVFC memberships are valid for one year from the member’s join date. For instance, if you join on January 15, 2010, your membership will be good until January 15, 2011. However, members who are set to expire on January 1 are encouraged to renew by that date to ensure there will not be any lapse in benefits.

If your NVFC membership is getting ready to expire or if you are not currently a member of the NVFC, renew or join at www.nvfc.org/membership. If you have any questions regarding memberhip, contact the NVFC office at nvfcoffice@nvfc.org or 1-888-ASK-NVFC (275-6832).
