New National Junior Firefighter Program Site! Please visit our new Junior Firefighter site at juniors.nvfc.org. |
There are thousands of local junior firefighter programs nationwide. The National Volunteer Fire Council, in partnership with Dunkin’ Brands Community Foundation and Spartan Motors, Inc., created one national program where departments and youth alike can find the resources, tools, and information they need to help develop, grow, enhance, promote, and participate in these local programs.
$100,000 in scholarships and grants are also available through the National Junior Firefighter Scholarship and Grant Program, sponsored by Dunkin’ Brands Community Foundation. Ten $5,000 scholarships will be given to outstanding junior firefighters and an additional $5,000 grant will be awarded to the department of each scholarship winner. Learn more.
Fire, rescue, and EMS organizations can use the resources on this site to register, start, expand, or encourage participation in their local program. Youth participants can use this site to find a local fire, rescue, and EMS organization, track their hours of service to receive national recognition and rewards, and apply for the National Junior Firefighter Scholarship.
The National Junior Firefighter Program is expanding, and new resources and tools will be added to this site regularly. Check back often to access the latest resources and tools from the National Junior Firefighter Program.
