EMS/Rescue Section

The mission of the NVFC EMS/Rescue Section (EMS/R) is to provide volunteers in an EMS or rescue delivery system with information, education, services, and representation to enhance their professionalism.

Section Leadership

The EMS/R Section leadership is from the membership of the Section and is comprised of a Chair, Vice Chair, Secretary, an NVFC Director (appointed by the NVFC Chair), three Directors At-Large, and a representative from NAEMT (appointed). The leadership is elected for two-year terms by the membership of the Section at the NVFC spring meeting.

Voting rights. Each member has the ability to vote at the Section’s bi-annual meetings.
Raising the profile of volunteer EMS. Members can affect change by working collectively on legislation, standards, codes and other policy areas that impact volunteer EMS.
