Please join the National Volunteer Fire Council (NVFC) for its annual spring board meeting in historic Old Town Alexandria. This meeting is an important time devoted to conducting business, getting committee work done, and spending time together. The spring meeting also honors outstanding achievements by individuals and departments at the Friday night Awards Reception and Dinner.

SPECIAL ACTIVITIES

NEW  Legislative Priorities Webinar – May 1 at 2pm ET
Here’s your opportunity to review the NVFC legislative priorities and be prepared for meetings with Congressional representatives. This will be a Live discussion of the talking points and issues that will be included in the legislative packets. Dave Finger will be giving a very brief overview of each issue and you will be able to ask questions. (This webinar will be recorded and available.) Please register in advance by clicking here.

CFSI Dinner - Thursday
The spring meeting is strategically timed to start the day after the CFSI dinner. The NVFC is arranging for bus service to take meeting registrants to and from the Washington Hilton. Please see the spring meeting agenda for specific times and gathering locations.

Welcome Breakfast – Friday (8:15 am)
Our meeting starts with the Welcome Breakfast. We will greet our new members and say hello to our fellow friends and colleagues. Everyone is welcome to attend.

Awards Reception & Dinner – Friday (6:00 pm)
This is the night we recognize individuals and departments that are  outstanding. The Foundation’s Silent Auction is held during the reception.

NEW! Early Morning Walking – Friday & Saturday (6:30-7:15 am)
For all our early risers! Join us for a 45-minute walk on the footpath of George Washington. We’ll gather and set the paces for both brisk and less-brisk walking.

Take advantage of the Early Bird Registration discount of $50 – Register by April 8th!

NEW – In order to receive the Early Bird Registration discount, all payments and registration forms must be received by the April 8th deadline! After the 8th, the full registration fee applies (even if bringing your payment on site). Payments received after the meeting will be assessed a $50 late fee.
